Poster for the 1997 Idiot Reunion
On October 11, 1997, the six original members of IDIOT gathered together with a bunch of their old friends—and enemies—at The Woman's Club (an old Palo Alto house) to celebrate the breakup of their rock band 20 years ago in 1977.
It started out as a grand joke, and no one knew what would happen, but they did it anyway. Idiot performed the old songs, and wrote and performed some new ones too. Everyone remembered why they broke up the band, but had fun bewildering all their old friends in the process.
